the weekend.....

we made pasties
we made cookies

and i have nearly finished the new hanging! We did a lot of furniture moving aswell. My daughter has moved out and so i have gained a sewing room!!!!!!! at last , somewhere to put all my stuff instead of it all cluttering up the hallway and the kitchen!! Everything is in the room but i will have to move it all again so that i can paint it, huh never thought of that!! Oh, the pasties were photographed before they went in the oven if you thought they looked a bit pale!! And they didnt hang around long enough when they were done !! ok back to do a bit more sewing. x

Hi
Thanks for the piccies in the previous post. Thats how St Ives should look! I know I'm in love with the place, because it often doesnt look like that (ie when you are sat in your tent holding on to it to make sure it doesnt end up in the Scilies!!)and I still long to return year after year!!
Your "parsteeees" look lovely - no wonder they went quick! Ive just lost my sewing room. My son has moved into it and we turned his room into a "lounge" for teenagers!! I'm back to using the dining table again.
We are back at Ayr for the Spring Bank week - so not long to go!

Hi Noelle - Currently I only have a family blog which we use to keep in touch with each other as I have aunts, uncles and cousins spread across the globe. We keep it private at my cousins request as she posts photos of her kids on here (and I think the rest of the world might find it a bit boring!!!). I am toying with the idea of starting a blog. I like making things, and cooking, gardening, walking and camping, but I always think no one else would be interested.

Well done Diane. I'd be interested too!! I love reading Noelle's. Although I am so lucky to live in Dorset by the sea I long to be in Cornwall....One Day! Noelle, your hanging is just so lovely. Well done for the sewing roon. Mine is in the attic, but as it is just the children and me in Popppy Cottage I have managed to spread throughout the whole house. Be back soon.
