We Went to St. Ives....

I know you know i live here anyway, but in the summer we dont venture down into town very much, too crowded.
But today Sam and i thought we would quite like to go down and have a look round and he could play on the harbour beach with friends and visit the arcade and so on!

It was very busy!

Although i managed to take this without another soul in the picture, but trust me it was busy!!

I paddled for a bit then went to the bead shop and a quick look round the old drill hall which has been done up and now has little shop units to let, its looking good still some more units to let there is a cafe , a clothes shop and a lifestyle boutique.
A nice afternoon thanks!
see ya soon x x x

Bit like me avoiding West Bay (well apart from going to work!!) Mind you Bridport is a no go to locals on Market days.

Think I'll come down you way again in the winter (is is less crowded then?)

Glad you had a nice afternoon.

I was down there today too, in the harbour, taking photos of the boats in the harbour. Yes, very busy since the children broke up from school ;o)

What a shame it gets so busy. Sounds as though you enjoyed it though.

It sounds like a lovely way to spend an afternoon ~ beaches, bead shops and the like!! It was smashing to get a little glimpse of the place, thank you!

Much love

Have just arrived home from our St Ives holiday! It was so busy during the day but as we were staying in the town we were able to sneak out early when it was quiet, bliss! Looks like we came away just in time though, I don't like the look of those clouds!!

St Ives was immediately recogniseable from the lichen on the roofs. Beautiful place.
