This time last year....

Strange to think that this time last year we were snowed in!

Quite different this year as I haven't actually felt cold yet, but that might just be me!

Things here are up and down, mainly down at the moment , no work for me being the main issue : (

But on a lighter note I have been sewing, LOTS!!

Years ago I went through a phase of making dolls, vintage looking cloth dolls. So thought I'd make some more, you know, just to have a change!

So meet Amelia.........

I'm making a new pattern so shall be making some more!

I hope you all have a lovely, creative, week!

P.S Don't forget the draw for my giveaway is Thursday!!!

: )

Hi Noelle. Your dolly is gorgeous. If you have the drive to sew lots, I'm sure you neednt work "for the man" as all your things are gorgeous. I'm coming to St Ives again next year, but a bit later - late July so I hope we can meet up again. I remember that snow! It stoppped us in our tracks didnt it! Like you, I am also in my own little sub tropical climate! Lots of Love xxxxxx

I know the weather is crazy at the moment isn't it. Very windy here today I can see the white horses on the sea from my window. Sorry to hear about the work situation. Hope something turns up soon.

Amelia is gorgeous, keep on sewing and selling and you shouldn't need to have a proper job :) The kids remembered it snowed this time last year, they have the day off school tomorrow and they had the day off last year as well! I too, have not yet felt cold this season, so there are some things to be grateful for :)

Thanks Ladies, such lovely comments!I would so love to stay home and sew my things for a living. Think I need to get myself a bit more organised, its the selling I'm not very good at!! Not as confident as I should be. Thanks again x

Oh Noelle, I love your doll, absolutely love it! I can't wait to see what else you're going to be creating!
As for the weather, yes I remember last year the snow was piled high here and it was minus 10 during the the mo, it's about 14 degrees, unseasonably warm, and so we're off to buy snowboots as we've got a funny feeling it ain't gonna last!

Much love to you

I like your dolls! I too haven't felt the cold too much yet, I have 'internal' central heating. Comes in handy this time of the year! ;o)

What a lovely doll! Hope your work situation improves - I am a freelancer and things are always very erratic so I do sympathize.
